This research aims to compare UV values under different colors umbrella. Twenty two inches diameter coats with anti UV substance umbrella and sixteen inches diameter non coated umbrella were studied. Six colors; purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red were used to determine UV value under these umbrella by lutron UV light meter model UV 340. Results found that the least UV value under the 22 inches diameter anti UV coated was found from blue umbrella and increased for green, purple, red, yellow and orange umbrellas, respectively. The least UV value under the 16 inches diameter non coated umbrella was found from green umbrella and increased for blue, purple, red, yellow and orange umbrellas, respectively. Comparison of both types found that the UV can penetrate less in 22 inches diameter anti UV substance coated umbrella in relation to those non coated and blue and protect against UV 94.30% while green, non coated one was 83.71%. The best colors of umbrella protected UV were blue and green.
